Vision and Purpose
HUSH is a hunger and poverty awareness group. We seek to serve marginalized communities on the local and international level through education & awareness, community service, and funding of projects. For the past two years we have been supporting development projects in rural western Kenya through the NGO Reach the Children. We are also seeking to build stronger ties between Ithaca and the Cornell campus through an active commitment to local volunteering. Our aim is to inform the student body of the problems of poverty and hunger in the world and to encourage them towards effective means of change.
