Preamble
We, Canadian students at Cornell University have gathered together in the United States in pursuit of higher learning. Despite the affinity between the United States of America and Canada, Canadians have traditionally upheld their own distinct national culture. The goals of the Canadians at Cornell Club (CACC) are to:
|
• foster Canadian culture at Cornell University;
• create a "second home" for Canadians on the campus;
• facilitate social interaction among Canadians and those interested in Canada;
• promote Canadian culture among peoples of other origins and nationalities at Cornell;
• maintain active relations with other Canadian and American institutions of higher learning, with student and cultural associations in the United States and overseas and with Canadian Cornell alumni.
