The 8th Annual Big Red JuggleFest

November 12 - 14, 2004

Cornell University, Ithaca NY

THANK YOUs!!

Here's how to get to Cornell's campus: Directions to Cornell University

Once you're on campus, you're looking for the Field House or Bartels Hall. Same building, two names. Once you get to the building, you want the Ramin Room (some people know it as the room with the astroturf and climbing wall). This has been the festival room for the last three years; many of you will recognize it. If you walk in the main glass doors to the building, take an immediate right and the room is there in front of you. There should be signs up. Also, if you're driving, park across the street in the Crescent Lot which sort of looks down on the football stadium. This will be free all day Saturday and Sunday and on Friday after 5pm. If you want to try and get a map of campus ahead of time, click here. Also, if you think you want to spend the night in Ithaca, ask us for floor space/couches (preferably ahead of time), or look for actual lodging here.

ALL EVENTS (except Saturday night show at State Theatre) ARE ABOLUTELY OPEN AND FREE TO EVERYONE!!

Feel free to bring all the equipment you want and have a blast (BUT: no knives and no torches please). We have the room all day Saturday (before and after the show) and also Friday evening and Sunday morning. Saturday is the main day and will include games, contests, workshops (if you are interested in teaching a workshop, email Brian), vendors (Oddsports will be there but we're not 100% sure right now who else), raffle items, t-shirts and more. Of course, show tickets will be on sale.

We are so excited about the show this year! We are proud to announce that our main act will be Lazer Vaudeville which features Carter Brown (internationally acclaimed bicycle rim juggler), Cindy Marvell (the first woman ever to win the International Jugglers’ Association Championships), and Nicholas Flair! You can get a taste of this very unique show from their website which features more information and some really cool videos. We are still in the process of getting an opener for the show but will post the info here when we know for sure. The show will be taking place at 8:00 PM Saturday, November 13th at the beautiful Historic State Theatre in downtown Ithaca. Tickets available at the Ticket Center at the Clinton House, Willard Straight Hall, and Dillingham Center, by phone at 273-4497, outside Tompkins County 800-284-8422, and of course at the festival. They are $15 (adults), $10 (students and/or at the JuggleFest), and $5 (under 12).
