Cornell Productions offers a wide variety of professional services. We do sound reinforcement for events ranging from small classical concerts in Barnes Hall to major a capella concerts in the Call Auditorium of Kennedy Hall. We provide lighting for events including Hotel Ezra Cornell in Statler Hotel, dance performances in Barnes Hall and theatrical shows in the Anabel Taylor Auditorium. Our sound and lighting systems are of high quality and work well in most venues on campus.

We also offer production consuling and stage management services. Many of our emplyees have an excellent command of event management principles from extensive experience in theater and major-concert production.

Cornell Productions has great pricing! The majority of the fee consists of the labor costs, but because of the large variation between shows in terms of equipment, labor, and other expenses, we do not have concrete pricing that we can list here. Please contact us to discuss your specific event and receive your quote.

Price Quotes

As Cornell Productions is a student run company, it is necessary to secure staff to work during an event. Please submit your requests as early as possible, minimum 5-7 business days prior to your event so no late fees would apply.

Cornell Productions price quotes are based on the information provided here and in related e-mails. The final cost consists of equipment rental charge, labor costs and any incurred fees. Your quote is subject to change as equipment, personnel, or time requirements change. Please refer to the service agreement for more information.

At the event date, please make sure that the venue is available for Cornell Productions to set up the equipment at least 2 hours prior to technical rehearsal or sound check. This will enable for us to be ready for your event on time.

Equipment Packages

Cornell Productions has everything necessary to provide sound and lighting support for your performance or event. The systems outlined below can be adapted to satisfy any specific requirements. Complete Packages

Complete Concert Package ( $225 )

The Complete Concert Package includes everything necessary for live performances where volume is key. This package features a three-way stereo, eight-box, 3500-watt system, including up to four independent monitor mixes, stage lights (including stage backlight), and a full array of signal processors to turn any venue into a concert hall for an evening.

Complete Dance Package ( $125 )

Whether the event is a dance party or a dance group performance, the Complete Dance Package is perfect for the occasion. This package features a three-way stereo, four-box, 2950-watt system with up to two independent monitor mixes, as well as stage lights perfect for setting the mood in any venue.

Sound Systems

A-System ( $150 )

The A-System is Cornell Productions’ largest sound reinforcement system. This is a three-way stereo, eight-box, 3500-watt system capable of providing clear sound reinforcement in Cornell’s largest venues or loudest events.

B-System ( $100 )

The B-System is Cornell Productions’ most popular sound reinforcement system. This three-way stereo, four-box, 2500-watt system is still powerful enough for most events in medium sized spaces, or where maximum volume is not required.

C-System ( $50 )

The C-System is designed for smaller sound reinforcement needs and groups on a budget. It is perfect for speaking engagements, background music, and small venues. It is also an excellent choice for groups who are looking to save some money and do not require advanced processors or the loudest system. The C-System still delivers as clear a sound as our other systems.

Extended Monitor Package ( $25 )

The Extended Monitor Package is designed to expand the available monitor mixes, providing two additional monitors to any of our packages or systems. It also includes graphic equalizers for up to four monitor mixes.

Light Systems

Complete Light Package ( $125 )

The Complete Light Package s designed to provide stage lighting over a large area, as well as provide ambient lighting around the venue. This package is perfect for banquets or parties that also include a stage performance on a large stage.

The Concert Light Package is perfect for any concert or performance. This package is designed to light the stage with up to 3 colors, as well as accenting the stage and performers. This package is aimed at groups looking for more than simple stage lights.

Stage Lights ( $50 )

Stage Lights are the basis of any live performance. Our Stage Lights provide 3 colors of your choice capable of being dimmed to any level. This gives you complete control of light levels and allows you to mix and match colors. Cornell Productions provides and industry standard of red, blue, and white. If you would like other colors, please inform us at the time of booking.

Ambient Lights ( Contact Us )

Spot Light ( $10 + labor )

Cornell Productions can provide a short throw spotlight for your event. Because of the layout of some venues, please contact us if you are interested in using a spotlight, and we will discuss options.
