If you’re just getting into swing, there’s a surprising amount of it out there. Every major city has a swing scene as well as quite a few small towns (what? Ithaca isn’t a major city?!). Many dancers travel long distances to dance in other towns, or for swing ‘exchanges’ or national events.
It’s important for dancers to see how people in other areas dance for it can often be an eye-opening experience (there are some amazing dancers out there). This page contains links to clubs both local and far away, as well as resources to learn more about swing and its history.
