Letter to Prospective VC Partners
Dear Prospective VC Partner,
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about CVC and the VC Internship Program. Cornell Venture Capital (CVC) was founded in 2007 with the aim of bridging the gap between Cornell Students, entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists. In order to further this aim, in January of 2009 CVC launched the VC Internship Program, which provides high-potential Cornell undergraduates the unparalleled opportunity to work with leading VC firms and their startup portfolio companies. Over the years the program has grown and today we have over a dozen VC partners, which include some of the world's leading VC firms.
We have been able to achieve this level of success due to the caliber of the Cornell undergraduates involved in our program. CVC prides itself on consistently delivering projects which exceed the expectations of our VC partners. We have recruited interns from every College and School at Cornell; this level of diversity enables us to generate value-adding research for our clients. Our projects generally involve substantial research and analysis; project types include market research, competitive analysis, due diligence, investment screening, and strategic analysis. We choose to work on projects that provide educational and experiential benefit to our interns.
For more information regarding the CVC internship program, please see our VC Internship page. If you are a VC and are interested with our organization, please contact Andrew Schoen or Siddhant Trivedi.
