Integration of Faith and Learning
Focus Points (click to expand)
We need to challenge common misperceptions our peers have about
Christians and Christianity. There needs to be an openness with our
peers.
We also have to challenge the misperceptions the Church has
concerning us as Christians in academia.
The ability to take scientific, philosophical, and theological
discussions from the ivory tower and apply them to how we live on a
daily basis.
How do we bring academic topics to a non-academic crowd so they can
both understand and use the results of our discussions?
How do we foster debate with out intimidating new/ outside people?
The diverse academic and theological backgrounds of our group
create the potential for thought provoking and life changing
discussion.
Communicating the applications (above) to others both in academics
and in the Church.
