GREEK DANCING
Cornell HSA will be organizing a Greek dance group to learn the ethnic dances of Greece and possibly to perform at events. If you are interested in learning some of the ethnic dances or you just love Greek dancing, then this group is for you! Below, you can find the syllabus, including some of the dances that will be taught. We already had our first meeting, but feel free to join any time!

Our main goal is to HAVE FUN!
Secondly, we aim to give a Greek dance performance during Mythos 2008 in March as well as performances at other various events

Your participation is critical
There is no dance group without dancers.
Come every week. We don’t have a lot of time and we will need to practice at least one hour per week.
If you cannot come, email Thalyana at tms46@cornell.edu and we will try to help you catch up.

In addition to dancing
Quick research about each dance, the customs associated with it, geographic location
Video presentations to see how people more experienced than us are dancing
