Abby Nedrow, our greenhouse manager, is an expert plant propagator an maintains a healthy stock of houseplants growing in our greenhouses year-round.  The club occasionally gathers at the greenhouses to propagate from cuttings or pot-up new plants.  These plants are carefully cared for until they are well-established and can be taken home by some lucky person.

Hortus Forum also works in cooperation with Dr. William Miller on a poinsettia project in the Fall and a tulip project in the Winter and Spring.  The club holds a poinsettia sale around Thanksgiving and will have tulips for sale in the Spring.  Checkout the greenhouse-cam by clicking on the link below.  This webcam is located in greenhouse #9 of the Kenneth Post Labs.
