What Every Pianist Needs to Know About Their Piano
Workshop by Ken Walkup

Saturday, February 4 - 2:00-4:00 pm - B20 Lincoln Hall
We have a new, original workshop coming up! Mr. Ken Walkup, Cornell's very own piano technician, will be giving a talk on how pianos work and how to maintain them. In his own words, "Rather than talk just about the mechanical workings of the piano, I would like to talk about what I think pianists most need to know about their instrument. So, I would like to include things like why a piano goes out of tune, other technical info about tuning, care and maintenance, etc."

Mr. Walkup will speak for the first hour and then follow up with a Q&A session for up to an hour. Admission is free, and everyone is invited to attend. Look forward to seeing you all there!
