About Us

Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity is a co-educational fraternity open to undergraduate students attending four-year colleges and univresities throughout the United States. Our purpose is to bring together some of the brightest and most motivated studnets on campus and work together in a spirit of excellence to encourage three ideals:

  • The acquisition and dissemination of information and knowledge through scholarship.
  • The application of professional skills and the fostering of leadership qualities by promoting and advancing the welfare of humanity.
  • The fostering of non-discriminatory, fraternal fellowship within our ranks.

Phi Sigma Pi means something different for each of its members. Phi Sigma Pi combines the best aspects of an honor society, social fraternity, and service group into one organization. Each member upholds Scholarship, Leadership, and Fellowship - the Phi Sigma Pi "Tripod" - in their own way.

The Cornell chapter holds many diverse events - service projects, coffee shops, lecture visits, formals, karaoke nights, trips to nearby chapters, parties, and much more! Members get together at meetings and events, and have the option of living in the Phi Sigma Pi Cooperative house located less than a minute away from Collegetown Bagels.

Phi Sigma Pi members take pride in the sense of family that comes from joining such a diverse and close-knit organization. The friendships made through Phi Sigma Pi last a lifetime - alumni often choose to live together even after graduation. Many members agree that joining Phi Sigma Pi was one of their best and most important college decisions.
