Meet the Brothers
This semester we started a fun new tradition at Chapter of introducing some of the Brothers. Here are their presentations:

Brandon 'Bimpy' Imp
- Year: Junior
- Major: Biological Sciences, conc. Microbiology
- Why you didn't see him last semester: Abroad in Rome taking classes in art history, photography, and Italian; adapting to the culture, cooking, relaxing, travelling, rioting, haggling, and running into walls
- Where you can find him on campus: Mainly Bradfield and the Schwartz Center for classes, Olin Library for studying, and CALS Registrar and GOldwin Smith for work!
- 3 crazy facts about Brandon:
- He hiked up a Swiss Alp in summer and skiied down one in winter - both were really intense but he'd rather hike up again
- He was in Boy Scouts and taught people the book so much that he could (note past tense) quote entire sections. Also, his dad cried at his Eagle awards ceremony. His dad never cries.
- He has a cat at home even though he's allergic. He also has a dog who is so dumb that he would run into walls when he was younger

Samantha 'Sam' Platt
- Year: Junior
- Major: Biological Sciences, conc. Neurobiology and Behavior
- Why you didn't see her last semester: Abroad in Quito, Ecuador and the Galapagos; sort of took classes but mostly had the time of her life hanging out on the beach after class; took 3 weeks off to volunteer at a giant tortoise breeding center
- Where you can find her on campus: Olin Cafe - she works downstairs and always makes her way there to get coffee before work. But head to Mann to see her in action studying.
- 3 Crazy interesting facts about Sam:
- She's obsessed with Barnes and Noble
- She goes through 2 packs of fruit and creme oatmeal a week (but doesn't eat the blueberry so it might be cheating...)
- Has always wanted a chinchilla as a pet

Joseph 'Joe' Salameh
- Year: Junior
- Major: Economics, concentrating in Law & Society, Science & Technological Studies
- Why you won't see him this summer: WIll be in Poznan, Poland working for KPMG Financial Consulting-Poland Office
- Where can you find him on campus: Arts Quad and Mac's Cafe doing mysteriously crazy things
- 3 crazy interesting facts about Joe:
- He speaks Polish
- His favorite sport is rowing
- He wishes he knew how to cook

Rashanna 'Ro' 'Shawnie' Ward
- Year: Junior
- Major: Human Development
- Why you won't see her this summer: Trying to get an internship in a hospital or a school but if all else fails a local department store will do
- Where can you find her on campus: She basically lives at Uris Library. You can find her there from sunset to sunrise. If she's not at Uris LIbrary, MVR is a close second.
- 3 crazy interesting facts about Rashanna:
- She has hitchhiker's thumb.
- She can play the cello. She started with the violin in the fourth grade but was better suited for he cello.
- She took Swahili for a semester and can speak it fairly well.

Stacey 'Dolittle' Burdick
- Year: Junior
- Major: Animal Sciences
- Why you didn't see her over break: Hoem in West Simsbury, CT spending as much time outside as she could hikig and walking on some trails near her house. Visited washing DC for a few days and went to the zoo to fulfill her mom's lifelong dream of seeing pandas and being touristy by going to a couple of monuments and the White House
- Where can you find her on campus: Morrison Hall and thereabouts, including but not limited to the Dairy Bar and the teaching barns
- 3 crazy interesting facts about Stacey:
- She was invovled in many musical theater shows with her high school and local youth theater and she really wishes that she had a better singing voice so she could have pursued it as a career.
- She has a twin brother
- She owned the biggest dog in her hometown (literally - he won a free dog license for it) his name was Winston and he was an English mastiff weighing in at 235 lbs!

Mark 'Marky Mark' Collins
- Year: Sophomore
- Major: Government & Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies
- Why you didn't see him over break: Home in Rhode Island visiting with friends at U of RI who were also on break. Also had an internship interview with a representative from Senator Reed's (D-RI) office. Turns out the woman was a high school friend's mom
- Where can you find him on campus: His loyalties are with Uris Library...He's usually in the computer lab right before the stairs down to the cocktail lounge. Or he's in the math library in Mallott.
- 3 crazy interesting facts about Mark
- He was actually born with blue skin (it was some sort of reaction with the air...and everything else goes over his head). As a result he was called a smurf.
- He's going to be in a wiffleball league this summer
- He had a pet pineapple freshman year named Albert del Monte...
