M&AE graduate students,

SiGMA will once again be organizing mock Q-exams for the new graduate students taking the Q in May. In the mock Q we have grad students administer a practice exam to the new grad students and pass along their experiences. This practice can help you get a feel for the style of the exam and answering questions.

The mock exams will be held on either April 2nd or April 4th. The actual Q-exams will likely be the week of May 19th (the week after finals). A schedule of events is available. This year we have also reserved rooms during the evening to provide additional work and practice space for students to prepare. *Please note that some of the rooms reserved are in Rhodes Hall, which means that you will have to ask John Orak (jbo10) for access.

The breakdown is as follows:

Dynamics and Control - April 2nd from 11am-1pm in Rhodes 151
& April 4th from 2pm - 4pm in Hollister 110

Fluid Dynamics - April 4th from 11am-1pm in Upson 217

Solid Mechanics - April 4th from 3pm-5pm in Rhodes 151
