The SiGMA Student Seminar Series gives M&AE graduate students an opportunity to give short talks related to their current research topics in a casual setting of their peers and fellow graduate students. The talks are general 15 minute presentations designed to keep MAE grads up to date on the various research topics being pursued in the department. The seminars also give speakers practice before presenting at A or B Exams, conferences, or job talks.

Throughout the year SiGMA will also invite faculty to present topics relevant to the interests of graduate students. These presentations typically cover information and tips for becoming better researchers in addition to professional development.
